Malay Ghosh elevated as president of Reliance Life Insurance
Reliance Life Insurance Company (RLIC), part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, on Thursday announced the elevation of Malay Ghosh as president, as part of the company’s overall growth plans.
The announcement was made by Sam Ghosh, chief executive officer, Reliance Capital Ltd, in Mumbai.
Malay Ghosh has taken over as the president, Reliance Life Insurance, from his previous role of deputy chief executive officer to further lead and strengthen the organisation and continue to provide direction and focus.

For buy the Reliance IPO through icicidirect.com which OPTION Institutionalâ€CLICK RETAIL OR NON-?
I want to buy Reliance IPo around RS. 100000 through ICICI Ditect.com.I know for Retail investors have the option for paying only 25% means RS 115 per share at the time of applying. Now I want to know , suppose when login to icicidirect.com and click on IPO section. The two option button displayed like “Retail†and “Non-Institutionalâ€.
Suppose I click on “Retail†then how much how much price should be entered for buying 225 shares?
If I m right total amount for buying 225 shares, I will have to pay 225 * 115 =25875 and rest of amount when shares are allocated.
Please clarify my point.

Reliance Capital plans to launch an IPO for Reliance Life Insurance
India-based Reliance Capital plans to launch an initial public offering for its Reliance Life Insurance unit, to capitalize on improving post-election stock market sentiment and easing liquidity situation in the country, according to media reports.
The company is planning to divest nearly 26% of its insurance arm over the next three to four months. With this move, Reliance Life Insurance will reportedly become the first Indian insurer to launch an initial public offering.
The present Indian insurance regulations cap investments by foreign entities in Indian insurance companies up to a 26% stake. The new government in India is expected to increase the limit on foreign direct investment to 49%.

Reliance Power IPO ready for listing
The Reliance Power initial public offering (IPO) is ready to hit the street on January 15 in a price band of Rs 405 to Rs 450. Each share has been priced at Rs 405 at the lower end and Rs 450 at the upper end of the band. The company plans to offer the retail investors or those applying for Rs 1 lakh will get a 5 per cent discount.
