Reliance Digital launches first store in South Delhi at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj

Reliance Retail plans to hire 93000
The Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Retail, which laid off employees as it right-sized through the economic downturn, is once again back in hiring mode in a big way, as the company attempts a second shot at India’s estimated $400 billion retail market.
We want to increase our employee strength by 93,000 at all levels across, mainly the value formats. We would like to hire middle and senior management level employees mainly from retail, FMCG and other sectors too. We will definitely have to hire front-end staff,Andy Campbell, chief brand officer, Reliance Retail, told Financial Chronicle.

Reliance Retail to bring in Toys ‘R’ Us in India
The country’s largest private corporation is out to win over the little ones, it seems. Within months of opening the country’s first Hamleys toy store, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Retail is set to bring in world’s leading toy retailer Toys”R”Us to India.
The two companies are close to signing a joint-venture agreement to open Toys”R”Us stores in India, a senior official close to the development said.

Promoting his film ‘FIRED’, the critically acclaimed actor Rahul Bose led a panel discussion on the horrors of getting ‘fired’ and the difficult task of firing people.
