Reliance Gas Transportation received pipeline extention

In an indication of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries‘ (RIL) plans for its offshore oil and gas fields in the Bay of Bengal, Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure (RGTIL) has sought and received an in-principle approval to extend its pipeline along the eastern coast of India.

The company, which was acquired by Mukesh Ambani from RIL for Rs. 5 lakh three years ago, will enhance the capacity of its east-west pipeline to 80 million cubic metres per day from the present 60 million cubic metres of gas, according to sources.

Reliance Retail to re-develop West Bengal projects soon

Reliance Retail, part of Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries, is looking at reviving its West Bengal projects in a major way, a top official said here Saturday.

We are currently working on how best we can come back to the state in a major way. It’s all currently on the drawing board, Tarun Jhunjhunwala, president of Reliance Industries, told reporters.

The company has faced several political hurdles in its bid to sell farm produce in the state.

Reliance Life to strengthen its health insurance products

Eyeing a place among the top-three health insurers in the country within three years, Anil Ambani group firm Reliance Life Insurance today said it is strengthening its portfolio of health insurance products in the coming months.
Reliance Life Insurance currently has one hybrid health product providing wealth accumulation along with health insurance.
The company will be strengthening the portfolio in the coming months with a basket full of health insurance products total reimbursable health expenses, individual and family floater on both group and individual product platforms, long term care among others, Reliance Capital CEO Sam Ghosh said.
