Billionaire Mukesh Ambani-run Reliance Industries will sell natural gas from its eastern offshore KG-D6 fields to Anil Ambani Group firm’s power plant in Andhra Pradesh at government approved rates.
While ADAG has taken RIL to court seeking gas from KG-D6 at rates decided in a private agreement that split Dhirubhai Ambani empire between the two brothers, Power Ministry has identified Reliance Energy Ltd’s Samalkot plant in Andhra Pradesh as one of the recipients of KG-D6 gas.

Reliance Industries’ Q4 performance
Reliance Industries’ fourth quarter performance beat market expectations despite the 1% fall in net profit and an almost 25% contraction in revenues. Its gross refining margin at $9.9 a barrel during the quarter, compared to $15.5 a barrel a year ago, disappointed even though it was better than global benchmarks.

Reliance Industries quarterly profit drop 9.4 pct, sales fell down 24.9 pct on low crude prices

Indian oil, gas and petrochemicals giant Reliance Industries Ltd. said Thursday that quarterly profits fell 9.4 percent and sales fell 24.9 percent, as waning demand pushed global crude prices lower.
Net profit in the three months ending March 31 was 35.46 billion rupees ($730 million), down from 39.12 billion rupees ($800 million) in the same period last year.

Anil Ambani complains chopper undermined
Industrialist Anil Ambani on Thursday evening filed a complaint alleging his helicopter had been sabotaged, police said.
According to police officials, Ambani said his Bell 412 seven-seater helicopter was “sabotaged”. He filed the complaint with the Sahar Police Station, near the airport, in the evening.

Reliance Industries has restarted its domestic fuel sales by re-opening two petrol pumps in Gujarat to sell diesel, a source said here.
“We have just started retailing diesel through our two petrol pumps in Gujarat. We are now focusing on diesel. Some part of diesel, we are diverting into the domestic market,” the source familiar with the development said.
