Mandeep Bhatia joins as Reliance Globalcom chief of National Long Distance(NLD)

Reliance Globalcom, a provider of enterprise, wholesale, consumer, and managed services, has appointed Mandeep Bhatia as the business head of its National Long Distance (NLD). Mandeep joins Reliance Globalcom from Bharti Airtel where he was leading the consumer mobile business as the COO for Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa regions. In his new role Mandeep will report to Punit Garg, president and CEO of Reliance Globalcom.


“Consolidating the leadership position in the National Long Distance business by leveraging the established portfolio of international communications services is an integral part of our future growth strategy. Mandeep’s experience and in-depth understanding of the telecom business would add a significant strategic advantage in expanding our NLD Voice & Data business,” said Garg.

Mandeep will spearhead the initiatives of Reliance Globalcom in the NLD arena, where he would be responsible for the expanding the current business comprising of a suite of voice & data products and services. Reliance currently has an IP-enabled optic fibre backbone in India spanning 1, 10,000 kms.
