Reliance Steel & Aluminum Company completed an agreement to acquire the outstanding stock of PNA Group Holding Corporation. The PNA Group includes Infra-Metals.
Infra-Metals has announced plans to build a multi-million dollar facility in New Boston.
Infra-Metals has six facilities across the country. In late 2007 the Infra-Metals board of directors approved the New Boston site as its seventh location. Read more

Reliance looking at diesel exports to Pakistan

Reliance Industries is looking at exporting diesel from its upcoming refinery at Jamnagar in Gujarat to Pakistan after Islamabad last month allowed import of fuel from India.
In July, Pakistan announced expanding bilateral trade with India by allowing more imports, including diesel and fuel oil. Read more

Reliance Submits Dev Plan For 8 More KG Block Discoveries

The development plans for eight more gas discoveries has been submitted by the Reliance Industries in its prolific eastern offshore KG-D6 block.
The Reliance’s junior partner in KG-D6, Canada’s Niko Resources, reported, “The discoveries are adjacent to the Dhirubhai 1 and 3 gas fields that are currently under development.” Read more

Niko Resources, the Canadian oil and gas major, sees D6 gas development starting in Q3 CY08, reports CNBC-TV18. “Volumes will ramp up to 2.8 billion cubic feet per day, or bcf/d. D6 oil development will start in Q3 CY08. Post that, volumes will ramp up to 40,000 barrels per day.” Read more
