Reliance ADAG\’s BIG Music & Home Entertainment inks exclusive deal with Warner
Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company BIG Music & Home Entertainment has signed on Warner Home Video as its exclusive home video licensee for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Under the strategic alliance BIG Music & Home Entertainment will market and distribute VCD, DVD and Blu Ray products from Warner Home Video, which has titles like the classic Gone with the Wind and Doctor Zhivago,The Matrix Trilogy, 300, and the Harry Potter, Batman and Superman franchises. Reliance Capital Q1 net up 5% at Rs 343.07 cr
Anil Ambani group firm Reliance Capital today announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 343.07 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, a five per cent growth over the corresponding period a year-ago.
The firm had a net profit of Rs 325.26 crore in the same quarter in FY08, Reliance Capital said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Read more

Reliance resumes fuel supply to Iran - trade
Indian refiner Reliance Industries has resumed fuel supplies to Iran from July after halting it in the last quarter of 2007 over credit issues, four trade sources familiar with the deal said.
